Nicole is an experienced healthcare professional with an extensive background of over 12 years of hands-on management within the healthcare sector including operational, technological, and clinical aspects of healthcare. She earned a Doctor of Medicine degree from West Visayas State University – College of Medicine in 2012, a Masters of Science in Health Informatics degree from University of South Florida in 2019, and a Bachelor of Science in Family, Youth, and Community Sciences degree with three minors from University of Florida in 2006.
Nicole believes in the power of optimism grounded in actionable strategies. At 30 years old, she broke away from her medical path and shifted through multiple career paths. At 35 years old, she had her breakthrough career moment when she joined the largest FQHC (Federally Qualified Health Center) in Florida, USA, as Director of Performance Outcomes for 15 health centers and 80-90 multi-specialty clinicians. She has successfully led multiple projects that increased performance improvement, operating systems implementation, practice and utilization management, and revenue cycle management. Key strengths also include using analytics with technology and healthcare backgrounds to ensure positive patient outcomes.
Currently, Nicole lives in Clearwater, FL with her family and two dogs: SirOdieG (Golden Retriever) and Gambit (German Shepherd). On her free time, she loves visiting Dunedin Causeway on her Honda Ridgeline truck and reading a book
